Food is such an important part of our day. We see our food times as a social occasion for the children to sit together in small groups and socialise with one another in a calm environment. Children learn how to lay the table, help to serve themselves as well as using appropriate cutlery independently. We offer Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner plus snacks. Our menus are carefully designed to offer a broad range of foods for the children using the recommendations from the Early Years Foundation Stage nutrition guidance. We have regular orders from supermarkets each week to ensure we are serving fresh foods. Our chef prepares a home cooked meal in our kitchen and prepares tea for the children....we offer a Summer and Winter menu each year, catering for a variety of dietary requirements in our setting, adapting our recipes to ensure children have varied and nutritious meals at Nursery. We are more than happy to share the menu with you, it has all of the allergen information on them for you to see clearly. As part of our Profile session with you about your child, we look at the menu and discuss any allergies/dietary requirements with you and make any necessary dietary plans.
